OVERVIEW

The Summer Arts Conservatory gives students ages 9-15 the opportunity to explore five areas of the arts: Theatre, Cinematic Arts, Music, Dance, and Visual Arts. Each morning, campers experience classes across all five departments. In the afternoon, they focus on the department they’re most excited about, with three Conservatory Intensives that give them more time to learn, create, and grow as artists.
The program is structured to give young artists a glimpse into an arts-focused student experience inspired by LACHSA.

After three weeks of learning and creating, campers have the opportunity to share their work in the final showcase. Theatre, Dance, and Music students take the stage, Cinematic Arts projects are screened, and Visual Arts students display their work in a gallery. It’s a chance for every department to come together and celebrate what the campers have created.

I just wanted to let you know that the Summer Arts Conservatory has had a huge impact on my daughter. She said it was the best summer ever and she learned so much. She loved all of her instructors and all the classes (especially improv which greatly increased her confidence). I was very impressed with all the things you guys accomplished in three weeks and the final show was amazing. Thank for providing a great opportunity for these kids, we’ll definitely be seeing you next year. Thank you so much!
